Infoforum has been working for 15 years. Since 2001 more than 100 events has been conducted (3 thousand people annually): National Forum of Information Security (Moscow), Inter-regional conference (other Russian cities), Eurasian Forums (participation of Eurasian countries), conferences, briefings, business breakfasts and clubs for professionals. Since 2009 Infoforum also has held many other international conferences.
National Forum of Information Security "Infoforum" is a joined initiative of the Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, of the Apparatus of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Trading-Industrial Chamber of Russia and Association of Russian Banks.
The first event, the All-Russian conference "Information Security of Russia in Conditions of Global Information Society" was held on 5 February 2001.
In a few years Infoforum expanded forms of their activities. They are the inter-regional conferences in the Federal districts of Russia, the Eurasian forums with the participation of the Eurasian countries and even foreign conferences.
From the first day until the present time, the National Forum of Information Security "Infoforum" is one of the few forums that has the official support of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, FSB, FSTEC of Russia, FSO of Russia, the Russian Defense Ministry, the Ministry of Communications of Russia, the Central Bank of Russia that are the main regulators of the industry of information security. In total, more than 30 Federal departments and agencies today provide support to Infoforum. The situation is really unique.
Why has Infoforum attracted more and more attention of wide audience?
Because from the first day words Information Security of Russia are in the title of our Infoforum.
By that we do not mean a certain reputable company, or a group of companies, or some respected persons. But we mean Russia, citizens of Russia, their vital interests in the information world.
We have never hidden this. And even attracting major foreign companies, we frankly say that we offer cooperation, we offer you to announce your products and solutions in order to ensure a comfortable and safe business life in Russia.
