Dear participants of the 4th International Conference on Information Security "Infoforum-Yugra",
Infoforum unites professionals in the field of digital technology and information security. Infoforum has become a good tradition and a clear evidence that the Russian Federation pays priority attention to the development and application of perspective technologies and ensuring the information security of the state, enterprises and citizens. Discussion of these issues at the international level shows that the Russian Federation is an active participant in the formation of a secure and stable digital world in which all states will interact based on the principles of digital sovereignty and the norms of international law.
The issues of stable operation of information systems, digital platforms, communication facilities and their security are of strategic importance for Russia and partner countries in international discourse. The importance of this factor for ensuring the sovereignty, defense, security of states, development of the economy, social sphere, public administration on the basis of advanced digital technologies has been repeatedly emphasized by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
We must take into account that the level of threats in the information space is increasing, the number of risks is increasing, and the negative consequences of various kinds of cyber attacks are no longer local, but truly global in nature and scale. And these threats can be effectively countered by constructive international cooperation and mutual assistance.
I am confident that the discussion held on the Infoforum in Ugra will contribute to the implementation of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of international information security, as well as strengthening the position of our country in the international arena and the exchange of experience.
