I am pleased to welcome the participants and guests of the 10th International Conference «Confidence and Security in the Information Society» (Infoforum-China).
The People's Republic of China, on the ground of which the event is held, is known worldwide for its achievements not only in the field of economics, but also in the field of communications and telecommunications, IT and Internet technologies. China's IT-companies occupy leading positions in international markets in the field of creating and promoting digital solutions.
Last year, our country, Russian Federation, completed the Federal Target Program for the «digitalization» of Russian television broadcasting. In Russia the Program was the first and successful experience in converting an entire industry to digital technology. It should also be noted that the possibilities of creating the infrastructure of the Information Society in the era of global development of Information and Telecom Solutions are diverse and multifaceted, and they are directly related to issues of Confidence and Information Security.
The agenda of the Conference, as always, is rich, includes topical issues related to the implementation of the Digital Economy in our countries, international cooperation in the field of Electronic Government, ensuring the reliability of Communication Channels and the use of 5G technologies, Transport Logistics of the SCO countries, Digital Customs and Border, Personnel Politics, as well as countering terrorism and extremism in the Information Sphere.
I am sure that the Conference will be held in a fruitful and constructive manner, and its initiatives will certainly be in demand. I wish all participants an exciting discussion, fruitful work, productive interaction and cooperation.
