Today, the issues of information security attract huge attention of the world community and the media. Violation of the digital sovereignty of states, unauthorized access to their information resources, illegal use of ICT infrastructure, terrorism propaganda are threats to international security, stability and territorial integrity of countries.
In 2015, Russian Federation and China signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of international information security. In recent years, the parties have implemented important practical steps, the number of joint projects in the field of the safe use of ICT has significantly increased: from satellite communication to exchange and training of specialists.
Leading experts from various information communities are invited to take part in the events of Infoforum. Unique environment for the exchange of experience, comprehensive discussion, consideration of information security issues and the search for effective solutions is created.
I am assured that practical cooperation of Russia and China in these fields will strengthen the partnership relations between the two countries, and the solutions developed will form a solid basis for further joint initiatives.
